We started Äntligen Jobb in association with Arbetsförmedlingen (The Swedish Public Employment Office) in 2011 as a social commitment to help foreign born academics who moved to Sweden to get into the Swedish labour market. The internships length is up to 6 months. Over 70% of all interns that has participated in the program have been offered an employment at Swedbank. Äntligen Jobb Process Step 1 Swedish Public Employment Office Arbetsförmedlingen (AF) Officer Swedbank Candidate and Swedbank First contact Information about Äntligen jobb and application process as well as criterias’ for participating in the internship program will be provided by Employment officer at AF as first step in the process. Employment Officer registers you in their database together with your job preferences. When demand for a specific competence occurs, Swedbank contacts AF to find a candidate for the vacant internship. You are contacted by an Employment officer if your background matches criterias’ for the internship. Swedbank will suggest a meeting for an interview with you. Stockholm 2018-03-15

Äntligen Jobb process Step 2 If the interview went well, you might get an internship offer up to 6 months full time. If you accept the internship we will welcome you to an open and caring environment with a lot of friendly people, where you can develop your language skills but also contribute with your experience from before. You will have a mentor during the internship period and he/she will help you in adapting to the new environment and to find your place in the organization, but also evaluate your performance continuously. Swedish language skills are not always a must, but we appreciate if you have ambition to learn it. Interview with Swedbank Feedback or offer 6 month (or less)Internship Evaluation of performance During the internship period you are eligible to apply for internal roles within the bank.
