Presentation transcript:

ENGLISH 3rd. Grade Unit No. I

Dear Family: It is a pleasure, and a blessing to be the English teacher of your child. During this year we will learn, grow and have fun together. In the following presentation, you will find the topics and vocabulary for Unit one. It’s the beginning of the year and kids are still adapting to a new grade and challenges. It may be possible that the content can be modified according to their development; if so, I will let you know during the following weeks. The evaluation days will be notified via agenda. Also, books will be sent with regularity as homework; this will have a score at the end of the unit. The acquisition of vocabulary is an essential element when learning a new language, and this is the reason why students will work one new word per day in their Pictionary notebook. The words will be assigned on Mondays by the teacher. This notebook must be delivered every Friday and returned by the teacher every Monday to take back home. If you have any doubt, you can contact me at: melanie.ordonez@liceojavier.edu.gt "Behind every young child who believes in himself is a parent who believed first" Sincerely, Melanie Orodoñez 3rd. Grade Teacher
