TIPS: [1] Use past quarters’ R.J. conference handouts to help focus your essay; [2] the highest scoring essays are often ones that utilize literary devices to enhance flow, fortify points, establish a clear tone, etc.; and [3] view the online examples for ideas, all of which scored either an ‘A’ or a ‘B’. DUE: Friday the 29th (if in before/on the 26th = +5 points) Plus, your R. J. will be handed in with your essay 50 points
