History Received Action Item in 2003 to Draft a “Common Best Practice” for the Society To Be “Task Oriented” in Terms of “What Needed to be Accomplished”…NOT a “How to Accomplish” Considerable Discussion at That Time Pertaining to Legal Liability Common Versus Industry Best Practice…settled on “Common” Draft Completed End of 2003 Draft Sent to Several Society Officers for Initial Reaction…It was Very Positive…Constructive Comments Received and Incorporated August 2006

More History Draft Sent to Executive Council…90% Positive…10% Less-than-Positive The Less-than-Positive Comments Stalled the Effort…Waited to Receive Alternative Approach, White Paper, or Extensive Volunteer Assistance…It Never Came!
