July Meeting Fully prepared for the year ahead

Holidays/Punctuality Arriving at school on time is important. Check school website for absence policy No holidays to be granted for any circumstances but absence must be requested for safeguarding purposes.

Minor changes End of day routine – children go out on their own. Snacks – not provided by school but children are welcome to bring in a piece of fruit for play times Milk – Let Mrs Maddison know if you wish to continue with milk - £7 per term.

Uniform All items named please! No jewellery- except: plain, round silver/gold studs, plain watch (if the child can /actively learning to tell the time) White, black or grey socks or tights. Plain black or brown shoes/trainers Draw string bag for PE kit Plain, clear, water bottle. Art shirts

PE Kit All items named please! Earrings must be removed or covered (if you are going to pierce ears do it at the start of summer!) Indoor and outdoor kit in school all week Black shorts/Skort/ Leggings White T-Shirt (No Logo) Plain Tracksuit Trainers

Swimming (Year 3) Every Tuesday – not the first/last week in a new term. Swimwear NOT beach wear Kit in a bag large enough to hold a towel plus school uniform and shoes. Bag needs a long strap to hang on classroom peg- no rucksacks If your child is healthy enough to be in school, they will be expected to swim.

Home learning Streamlined to make it more consistent and focus on essential skills Mathletics - online Bug Club – online or using physical book An art project each half term.

Residentials Year 3 Sleepover in Summer term Year 4 2 day residential to York
