Mrs. Mel Hebert Art – Herod Elementary

Be Safe in ART

Be Safe in ART Walk through the artroom. Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat. Tuck your chair in. Sit correctly, feet and knees under the table, tummies touching the table, hands in your lap. Keep your work area and the floor clean. Put scissors and pencils pointing down in the cup. Pass sharp objects (scissors and pencils) to others with the points facing the floor. Only touch something IF the teacher has told you to do it, use it the way you were told.

Be Respectful in ART

Be Respectful in ART Raise your hand to speak. Use kind words and a calm tone. Take turns and respect others when it’s their turn.

Be Prepared in ART

Be Prepared in ART Come to art ready to start working right away. Listen to directions and follow them quickly. Be on time for art. Help your class to get to art quickly so we can get started.
