Abstract Acknowledgments References Title: Android Application for Children(Numbers) Name: AISHA KHALFAN KHAMISA AL SHEKALI – (ID:6296366) (Bachelor in Computer Sciences), Supervisor: Mr. Ravindra R Dharamshi Course Project : COMP230: - Internet Technology - Spring 2016 CAS- DMPS - Computer Sciences Section Abstract This application is a mobile app designed to run on Smartphone’s, tablet, computers. In this project, we design and build a mobile application based on Google Android OS framework which will enable it to run in about more than 80% of the smart phones devices available now. Our application will target mainly the students, faculty and children. Prime goal would be in Learning Number language with images for basic arithmetic operations which used in our everyday life. This app would benefit to younger kids to recognize and learn numbers with sound, identify numbers with shapes and images, solve arithmetic operation Background Project Goals/Objectives Recognize Android applications environment and workflow. Design and develop useful Android applications with compelling user interfaces. Create android's apps for user benefits. With useful android's communication and internet resources . Secure, harmony, package, and deploy android applications. Build own Android apps. To gain knowledge of a new program with modern technology. To learn how to build and create the mobile app program. To become skilled with how to transfer app .apk file that is designed to Smart Phone/Mobile. Our application will target mainly the children’s, student’s, parent, faculty. Our application … Methods/Process/ Tools Results/Outcomes Graphic Outputs Android Studio Application. Android Plugin (ADT). Android SDK. High Configuration PC. Smart Phone. Conclusions/Recommendations The main activity of the application contains from 4 buttons which is (Game, Numlist, Sample, Aboutus). Conclusion We learned many internet based things like XML, Java, and android framework for our project. It was really a new experience for us which we liked and enjoyed. We hope that our application will be used by users and they send us their feedback to improve the app. Also, we hope that our mobile app project will encourage other students to start developing for android apps. Benefits from the project We learn a new program with modern technology. Recommendation for the future project development. Add other languages along with English for the project.
