Adventures in Computational Thinking Hannah Roots, Fall 2015 Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages In two of the labs, we learned basic html in order to create webpages that we put online. Desktop Publishing with MS Word In this lab, we used advanced features to use Microsoft Word in a whole new way. Computational Thinking In CSE 3, we were introduced the skills it takes to use information technology in an efficient and effective way. This was done through labs, which have been showcased in this poster. IDLE (Integrated Development and Learning Environment) Programming with Python Using the PyCharm program, we explored different types of loops available in Python. Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel Using MS Excel, we created a budget and manipulated final data using advanced spreadsheet skills. Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint Using MS PowerPoint, we were able to create a slide show displaying analysis on our career related stocks and investments. Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript Using JavaScript, we were able to create interactive webpages.
