BIOTOURs plan for communication Two communication levels: Information Aim: To make the program visible and demonstrate research based information to a wide audience defined as BIOTOUR’s target audience. Dialogue and relationship building Aim: To provide more in-depth knowledge of the research area and create arenas for dialogue and exchange of information. BIOTOUR, Communication and outreach

Aims for communication Overall communication goal for BIOTOUR: There is an increased interest for tourism and nature based tourism. BIOTOURs role is to demonstrate research based information on tourism in the new bioeconomy. Aims for internal communication after one year: BIOTOURs partners and administration learn to know each other Establish structures and routines for internal communication. Awareness rising of the importance to integrate communication on a daily basis. Aims for internal communication after two years: BITOTOURs programme partners should feel well informed and included, creating a feeling of togetherness and loyalty. All programme partners should feel competent in their communication of research results to the various target groups and different channels for communication.
