Cell Setup Introduction Viewing Cell Setup Menus Creating the Cell
Introduction Cell Setup is used for creating simulated robotic cells. The cell created can be a duplicate of an existing cell or a virtual prototype of something new.
Viewing Cell Setup Rotate- Right click mouse, drag right or left. View Angle- Use scroll bars on right side of screen. Zoom- Right click mouse, drag up and down. In Cell Setup and Simulation the mouse is used to control the scene. Lighting- Right click mouse, hold shift key and drag.
File Menu Opens a New cell setup Saves setup file- default file extension is .3DC Opens a New cell setup file and New Object menu * Peripheral axes must be redifined with Save As Saves current setup under a new file name* Opens an existing cell setup file and shows Open dialog box. Closes Cell Setup
Edit Menu Displays the New Object menu for addition of more objects in Cell Opens a color palette so you can select cell background color Opens a color palette so you can select cell floor color Activates the Delete Mode- a delete cursor appears which you place above object to be deleted
View Menu Allows you to select a different focal point for viewing the cell Displays an overhead view of the cell
Shows cell point of origin Labels Menu Labels the objects in the cell Labels the position of objects in the cell Shows cell point of origin
Icons- Click for icon identification Redirect Camera Camera Top Show Positions About Setup Delete Object Open Setup New Setup Add Object Save Setup Set Floor Save As Show Names
