Instructional Plan Development MCHCE

Instructional Notebook Requirements All materials you have collected and used to create your instructional plan. Copies of assessments Samples/Examples of student work Rubrics Photos, etc. of activities Notes, Reflections MOST OF ALL…..

YOUR Instructional Plan! Instructional Plan—Digital Copy of the finished plan is due in addition to your Notebook. Turn in Notebook at the end of the June 2011 Summer Institute. You will receive it back, but if you need your materials by the fall, make copies of it before you turn it in. Drop Dead Due Date: June 30, 2011

Structure You do not need to follow a specific template. You DO need to include the following: Content, Context, and Conclusions (Annotated Scope/Focus, including Grade Level) Curriculum Standards you are addressing (District, State, or National) Guiding Question (Essential Understanding, etc.) Assessment

What to include in lesson procedures description… Lesson Activities (Description of Lesson and Activities and Discussion Questions) At least two primary sources (can have more and are BIOGRAPHY-related) At least one secondary source Bibliography Lesson Reflection
