Today I will have a fire drill Today I will have a fire drill. A fire drill is something I practice in case of an emergency.

This will help me in case there ever is a fire at our school.

I will hear the fire alarm I will hear the fire alarm. I don't like the noise, but I don’t get frightened. I think to myself that the bell will be over soon.

First Then I will line up quickly and quietly with my class. I will listen for Mrs. Scott’s directions. Mrs. Scott knows what to do.

I will leave the school with my class and try my best to walk quietly to the playground.

I will stand in line with my class and wait for the principal to tell us that it is safe to go back into the school and classroom.

Fire drills are something we practice in case there is a fire.
