Gold Crew ® Ballast & Track Treatment

Spills in Rail yards happen every day

Over the years diesel has accumulated in and around the refueling areas

Gold Crew is applied to these contaminated areas For spill response, spill cleanup, and ……

…. can be applied over large areas very inexpensively

The solution should be allowed to soak down to the contaminated zone

The ballast can be power washed to improve the sites appearance while biodegradation takes place under the surface

Finally, an environmental spill response that effectively addresses the problem.

Gold Crew can be premixed with nutrients and delivered to the job site

Precaution should be taken to prevent runoff

In this case, the treatment zone is the ballast

The spill occurred just off the highway

The spill zone is outlined by the booms

Apply first from the outer edge

In a slow fashion not to create runoff

Work both edges to start

Move down the entire length of the spill

Then move to the center of the zone to be treated

Make sure you treat under the ties

Apply a good heavy application to the center

Then work your way back covering the edges again

Monitor the site: To speed biodegradation Keep moist, add water once a week Reapply as needed
