Large Scale Change

Large Scale Change L Successful Execution doesn’t just happen Implementation levers need to be built in from the start Depends on people –people like certainty but may not be possible Legitimacy will get you a long way Adaptive, agile and feedback loops It will be critically dependent on culture L

Culture…. “The way we do things around here” Symbols, Rituals, Values – often unconscious “The way we do things around here Practices and Behaviours Loyalty It affects your brand and your bottom line

Culture…. How do you want things “done around here” – culture must be congruent with your business and your strategy Would you know how things are actually done around here? How does your Board and your Regulator expect things to be done around here? FRC Are you sending mixed messages? Culture change is about clarity, behaviours, exemplars, persistence and persistance!

Not new but a growing body of law to encourage and protect Seldom comes out of the blue Actively encourage speaking up as part of your routine Have a policy….and a plan! Be speedy and decisive Have a risk mitigation plan Public interest  the public interest
