What is a digital footprint? A digital footprint is history of your information online. A digital footprint can not be erased, it is permanent. Digital footprint can yet be very destructive to young adults future. Information that you post on a certain website is going to be own by that company. I.E , information/pictures that you have posted on Facebook is now owned by that company.

Information that has been posted. A lot of information that is posted can not be taken down easily. Photos of you that are posted on social media sites are permanent and added on to your digital footprint. The information that you have posted can not be fully taken down. Many of the social media sites company knows what you post of certain types of websites. And unfortunately they now own your information that you have posted. This is certainly very risky for some peoples future. This can cause your future life as in getting a job or many certain kind of social economic growth, if placed in the wrong hands.

Can a digital foot print can be erased? Unfortunately our digital foot print is highly permanent and difficult to erase information. Every post and photos of you are added to your digital footprint everyday. Whether taking a picture of you meal for Instagram or a baby picture. Information has been adding on to your digital footprint mindlessly. People might see it as a small stigma but unfortunately it is more then what it looks like. Photos and messages that you posted are awash lurking around and you can not erase what you have said. I.E, picture of you on snapshot is actually still floating around. The company owns the photo and it is added to your digital footprint.

Ways to reduce your digital footprint One way to reduce your digital footprint is, be cautious about what you post online Always ask permission if you can post a picture of a friend are you together. Be mindful of who you are talking to online. Always let your parents know what you are doing online. Be wise in what you are posting online. *most, importantly be friendly around others.* internet life is almost the same as in reality.

Good things Although your digital footprint of many negative ideas it has some great quality. Your digital footprint consist the history of you and you social life story about you and yourself You digital footprints usually stays with you where ever and when ever you go. Your digital footprint consist many information about you and your social life about your up bringing to one certain kind of media site. You will always have it with you, like a little book but permanent and usually unnoticeable.
