Power Point Introduction What is Power Point?....It is a Microsoft presentation software that allows you to create slides, handouts, notes and outlines.

Information can be introduced slowly There are different ways to show information. This is called “animation”. There are different ways the slides change, this is called “transition”. Information all at one time Power Point Presentation may be used for entertainment. To teach a class. Organize a speech for a meeting. Could your OCV group use it? How about at family gathering?

If you have a new computer with Microsoft Office you probably have Power Point.

Basic Power Point Is taught to members of the Computer Group in the Computer Lab. Classes are very small….one or two students only. Depending on your experience there are only 2, 2hour classes. If you have a project you want help with, then more time will be made available.

You can burn what you create to a CD to share with family and friends, adding the Power Point Viewer to the disc. If they don’t have PP they will still be able to view it.
