The Peculiarity And Quirkiness Of The Mobius Strip

What Is A Mobius Strip? The mobius strip is a real life optical illusion. It is a 3-dimensional object that has only 1 side. It is an example of non-Euclidean geometry; which means it challenges just about every theorem you learned in your geometry class.

What Does A Mobius Strip Look Like?

How Do You Make A Mobius Strip? Take a long strip of paper, give one end a half twist and tape the ends together. To verify that it is mobius, take pencil and draw a line down the center of the strip and observe what happens. Take a scissors and cut on the line that you drew. Is this what you expected? Draw a line down the center of this strip. Is your new strip mobius?
