It would affect my future by… If I had a bad digital footprint and I applied for a job or college, and they saw my footprint. They might not accept me, because of my bad footprint.

It would affect my footprint by… If you moved to a new school or town and tried to make friends and they searched your name and something bad popped up, they might not want to be friends with you.

To keep a good digital footprint you can… Post pictures and video’s of good things, like you helping the community. No pictures of you doing bad things.

To keep a good digital footprint you can… Make sure your friends and family don’t record you doing silly things that they could post.

To keep a good digital footprint you can… Comment nice things on peoples pictures not mean things. Keep it positive.

What others should know… I learned not to post anything negative on social media. I also learned that places that I may apply to will search my name. I would make sure that other students would know this information. I would give examples of things that have happened to other people because of a bad digital footprint.
