Module 1: Setting the Scene: Climate Change and Climate Finance What are we dealing with? – Overview of science base, key terminology, processes, and funding opportunities for climate change Exercise: The relevance of climate change to my sector - applying a climate lens

Module 2: Climate change impact on a project level How to measure and express climate change impact on a project level? – Getting to know climate change indicators and key measurement techniques for mitigation and adaptation Exercise: Climate change indicator development from a sector perspective

Module 3: Project development and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) What are the specific processes and requirements to develop GCF projects? – Overview of the GCF, key terminology and specific demands of the GCF Exercise: In-depth analysis of real-case GCF project proposals.

Module 4: Country Ownership and Nationally Determined Contributions What role does country ownership play for GCF projects and how does this relate to the NDCs? – NDCs as an important element for GCF project development Exercise: Analysis of country NDC in its climate policy context and from a sector-perspective
