Session Overview What is Lexia? The Software Tracking Progress Value for Money

What is Lexia? Computer programme. Designed to help students improve reading skills. Independent and personal learning pathway. Staff monitor progress and support areas of difficulty. Software can be downloaded and accessed at home.

The Software Supports: Phonics Phonemic Awareness Vocabulary Fluency Comprehension

Tracking Progress Track progress of cohorts and individuals. Intervention tool for SEN. Identifies students at greatest risk. Prescribes worksheets and lesson plans to consolidate learning.

Value for Money Targeted, differentiated intervention. Time efficient. Allows for support of numerous students at the same time. Measureable impact for cohorts such as Pupil Premium, EAL, SEN . Free school-home access.
