Naming Criteria Follows Board policy CW (LOCAL). Buildings serving kindergarten – 8th: In memory of a person who has served the District or community In memory of any person who has made a significant contribution to society or education A local residential or geographic area A district property donor or his or her family members

Review Process Specified in donation deed Selection committee met to determine name and deed are in compliance with criteria in Policy CW (LOCAL).

About the Namesake 1981 – 1987 Son of Roger Thompson – former NISD school board member, local rancher Son of Sharla Stockard – retired NISD educator Family of educators

Recommendation The committee brings the following name to the Board for approval: Lance Thompson Elementary School
