Status Navigation Systems Panel (NSP) was instituted at the Spring 2017 BoG meeting The Panel’s charter was created and is posted on the AESS website The Panel’s primary responsibility is the oversight of IEEE/AESS involvement in the IEEE/ION Position, Location and Navigation Symposium (PLANS) AESS is responsible for one of the four tracks at PLANS 2018 (track chair is Randy Curey who is also the GAP Tech Panel Chair) First formal meeting of the NSP is scheduled for October 4, 2017 Panel currently has 8 IEEE members from Australia, Europe and the US (thus making the scheduling of telcons quite challenging!) 12/31/2018
