Ingenol mebutate for the management of genital warts in sensitive anatomic locations  Stephan Alexander Braun, MD, Peter Arne Gerber, MD  Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology  Volume 77, Issue 1, Pages e9-e10 (July 2017) DOI: 10.1016/j.jaad.2017.01.034 Copyright © 2017 American Academy of Dermatology, Inc. Fig 1 Ingenol mebutate (IM) gel pharmacologically ablates genital warts (GW) in sensitive anatomic areas. A drop of IM (0.05%) gel was applied on all visible GW at the corona of glans penis (A) and the peri- and intra-anal skin (C). After 48 hours, all warts disappeared (B and D) and the eroded dermatitis resolved without any complications within a week.
