Abstract This document propose to add a comment to address the traffic class control problem in MBSS
Background Issue comes up from security sub-group discussion today PTKSA replay counter and GTKSA replay counter fields are used to inform STAs how many replay counters to use for protecting data traffic The number is determined by the number of traffic classes In BSS, AP dictates the numbers MBSS need to address the problem of controlling traffic classes Solution options Make it mesh-wide configuraiton Negotiate in pairwise basis

In infrastructure mode, it's dictated by AP. But in mesh, either need to define it as mesh-wide configuration, or let mesh STAs to negotiate in pairwise basis. The former makes more sense. Recommended change: Need submission to implement the former approach.
