Our observations and lessons learned INSPIRE Spatial Data Theme, date etc has be correct. How good is the linkage among related INSPIRE resources? The resource metadata must contain all the mandatory elements required by INSPIRE. Is there a View Service? Can the INSPIRE Geoportal get contact to the service? Is the Layer(s) listed including the one for the Data Set? Is there a Download Service? Can the INSPIRE Geoportal get contact to the service? Is the Spatial Data Set listed and available? Title of vocabulary for LOPD – difference between guideline and Registry The linkage between metadata for Data Set and metadata for Services is very important! Metadata for Service also include the GetCap-file! Styrelsen for Dataforsyning og Effektivisering Monday, 31 December 2018

INSPIRE Spatial Data Theme INSPIRE Spatial Data Theme: Vocabulary has to be ”GEMET - INSPIRE themes, version 1.0” Date has to be: 2008-06-01 Date type has to be: "publication” Reported issue: https://github.com/inspire-eu-validation/metadata/issues/130 We have corrected the MD from our agency. Styrelsen for Dataforsyning og Effektivisering Monday, 31 December 2018

Download Service Reported issue Data Set metadata shall include Resource locator from where data is available: And the Download Service GetCapabilities shall include ”SpatialDataSet-Identifier” (Mistake in guidelines…?). Until now no clear politic and experiences with SptaialDataSetIdentifier in DK. The identifier has to be same as the one in Data Set metadata! Reported issue https://github.com/inspire-eu-validation/ download-service/issues/81   Styrelsen for Dataforsyning og Effektivisering Monday, 31 December 2018

View Service Data Set metadata shall include Resource locator where from data is available: View Service GetCapabilities shall include for each Layer reference to Data Set metadata (xml-format): Experiences so far – to-be-continued – focus has been of Download Services. Styrelsen for Dataforsyning og Effektivisering Monday, 31 December 2018

What is the correct title? Title of vocabulary LOPD-code list What is the correct title? The one in the guideline start with ”INSPIRE” and the one in the INSPIRE Registry does not. Issue reported: https://ies-svn.jrc.ec.europa.eu/issues/3140 Monday, 31 December 2018 Styrelsen for Dataforsyning og Effektivisering

So how will we move on? Focus on a data set with its metadata, view- and download services and their metadata especially SpatialDataSetIdentifier. Work step-by-step to improve the linkage between the resources. We will begin to use http-URI as identifier of the Data Sets – pattern follows the ISA Rules. https://geo.data.gov.dk/.... Why have we not done that before now? A matter of matureness in organizations. Plan to have a landing page (recommended by Spatial Data on the Web) A huge communication task ahead of us in order to help and guide the national stakeholders on secure linkages. It is difficult for us (experts). A MIG-T common agreed set of one-page-figures showing the necessary linkage between resources would be nice to have.
