Macbeth’s Ambition In the Deep Thoughts section of your notebook, list four things you want or must do or accomplish before you die.

To achieve these four things . . . Remain standing if you are willing to lie Remain standing if you are willing to betray a friend Remain standing if you are willing to betray a belief Remain standing if you are willing to murder someone

Small Group Discussion In groups of three or four, discuss why you made the choices you did.

Whole Class Discussion In a whole class discussion, be able to express your beliefs and be willing to defend them.

Deep Thoughts In a Deep Thoughts response of 600 words or more, explain why you made the choices you did and why you disagree with some of the choices others made.
