Common Writing Errors

Commonly Confused Words Affect/Effect Loose/lose Choose/chose You’re/your Look these words up and define them. What are the differences between these words?

Sentence Mistakes Run on sentences. Comma splice A sentence ends after a subject, verb, and a complete thought. Do not allow more than one thought into a sentence. This is a run-on. Proofread your Work! There were many examples of leaving words out of a sentence, words spelled incorrectly, words repeated, and letters inverted.
