Reminder …. 2014 Sergej and Lucia proposed a new BeamCal design

Sergej 2014 BEAM

Sergej 2014

2017 In the last months, we decided to explore this idea We started discussion between TAU and Sergej We reached new ideas that still are under discussion. Main concerns: Avoid to machine very precisely the tungsten plane Maybe avoid the PCB Simplification of the kapton

conclusion Sapphire sensor beamcal has been proposed 2014 by Sergej Discussions/propositions are on going to simplify what can be simplify Need to find a readout. Maybe APV is ok Hope to reach a proposal in the next months We will need then a discussion into the FCAL community : do we want to push it forward (TB) ? Who ? Funding ? When ?
