Advanced Studies and Leadership Program Cape Cod Collaborative Advanced Studies and Leadership Program In Partnership with (MMA) Massachusetts Maritime Academy Summer 2018 Mr. Gilbert Newton

Objectives Support and stimulate high achieving students by providing a 3-week summer program that offers hands-on academic pursuit and interactive leadership activities within a collegial environment 48 hours of study in STEM areas 24 hours of study in humanities Evening leadership program Media and library support

Eligibility Entering grade 8 and 9 in Sept. 2018 Enrolled in public school in CCC member district and selected non-member districts Sufficient background, potential and commitment

Selection Seat allotments based on size of district District allotments- Barnstable 32 Selection process reviewed and determined by Gateway Department. ASLP makes final decision.

Student Comportment Mature and proper behavior expected Ability to manage own behavior within a residential setting Committed to full 3 weeks within residential setting Ability to follow Code of Conduct
