Finca del Rada was given to General Ricardo Rada in 1956 for his services to Francisco Franco the Spanish dictator during the Spanish Civil War.

Scattered throughout the hunting lodge are photos and references to Francisco Franco, also an enormous array of big game trophies adorn every wall each has a plaque stating when and who made the kill. It's like stepping back in time.

The property has an entrance hall with a staircase, leading from the entrance hall to the left is the lounge which looks out over the garden and beyond there are magnificent views of the rolling hills and open countryside. To the right of the hallway is a smaller reception room with a Christian shrine to the Virgin Mary. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms + the servants quarters, which has three bedrooms. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, every room has a fireplace or small wood burning stove.

The Finca This 3,000 hectare finca is outstanding not only in size but in it's sheer beauty and the enormous red deer population gamboling across the land. There is a license for big game hunting held on the property which is a rare commodity these days. The land is a mixture of rolling hills, rocky outcrops, lush green meadows and pine forests.

Across the finca are many stone built farms that sadly are in ruins but each one is large and would provide luxury accommodation once renovated.

This finca almost has the beauty of the Scottish highlands with the idyllic weather of mountainous Spain. There are rock formations for climbers, plentiful natural springs to feed the land and is a haven for wildlife.
