Presentation transcript:

Side No-Zones

Keep a space cushion to the side Do not drive in the blind spot of another driver. Avoid driving alongside other cars on multi-lane street.

Side No-Zones Do not “hang out” on either side of trucks or buses. Trucks and buses have big No-Zones (blind spots).

Blind Spot Monitoring Helps you avoid a crash with a vehicle in the lane next to you by continuously screening the blind spots to the side of your vehicle.

Group discussion Get with a partner and discuss the dangers of driving in the no-zones. What could you do if someone was constantly “hanging out” next to you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m1-FIAhcSA
