In this project we will bring researchers from both countries together to discuss challenges common to both countries. They will discuss the challenges and also a way forward, how can we, as two countries but also as a part of a larger global community, deal with these challenges. We can point them in the right direction. In three years time, sure we will see more Research Joint publications, research projects, co-supervision of post-graduate and PhD-students Education Development of joint programmes Strategic projects (ex Capacity building, innovation) Increased student & PhD mobility Teacher, researcher and post-doc exchanges Increased awareness of SE & SA as study destinations Industry Seed-funding projects (linked to industry-academia events) Industry PhDs & internships for students Collaboration projects researchers and industry But we will also have set a new standard for collaboration between our two countries.
