SUSTAINABLE USAGE means the use of components of biodiversity in a way and at a rate that does not lead to the long-term decline of biodiversity, (thereby maintaining its potential to meet the needs and aspirations of present and future generations.)

Sustainability

Sustainable Usage Recycling, reusing, reducing our consumption Minimize our use of herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, antibiotics, cleaners Only harvest what you truly need (fish, crabs, elk, wild berries, etc) Avoid bring spreading invasive species and help stop the spread of them Don’t support industries that harm the environment Buy products that are produced sustainably Buy products that are ENERGY-WISE (energy star) Support reasonable regulations that protect the environment Use public transportation or carpool or drive hybrid cars Switch to solar energy and energy efficient appliances
