TOURING THE SOLAR SYSTEM Use the Internet to research this project and use the following websites as a place to start:
It takes 88 days for Mercury to orbit the Sun. This is 0.2 years less days to orbit the Sun than Earth.
Mercury is the smallest planet in the Solar System and the one closest to the Sun, with an orbital period of about 88 Earth days, which is much faster.

earth and beyond

Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Sature Uranus NEPTUNE The order of the planets closest to the sun outwards is mercury, Venus, earth, Mars, Jupiter, Suture, Uranus and finally Neptune. The largest planet in the solar system is Jupiter followed by Suture, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, mars with the smallest being mercury.

Sun and moon Moon Facts for Kids The Moon is the Earth's only natural satellite. ... It is the fifth largest moon in the Solar System. ... The average distance from the Moon to the Earth is 384403 kilometres (238857 miles). The Moon orbits the Earth every 27.3 days

3 interesting facts about neptune 1. NEPTUNE is the first planet that is predicted mathematical calculation before spotting with a telescope. 2.Neptune got its name from the roman god of sea. 3.weight wise Neptune is 17 times heavier than earth and 58 times larger inters of volume.
