Henry Hudson By: Lillian Wulff
Henry Hudson was an England sea captain and in 1609 Holland sponsored his trip to reach China.
Henry Hudson went on two voyages and on the first voyage that he took he found the Hudson river but he had mistaken the river for a large body of water and got stuck, but eventually got back to Holland.
His second voyage was in the winter, witch was not a very good idea because the water froze around his boat and stopped him from coming home right away.
“In the spring the crew rebelled again”
So in the spring he didn't return home so all of the people in Holland believed that he had disappeared but nobody knows exactly where.
His impact was that he had found the Hudson River (Hence the name)
