Pressure is the force exerted on a surface. Your feet exert force on the ground in the form of pressure.
Pressure and Area Pressure decreases as the amount of area increases. Snow shoes help increase the area Water skis also increase the area.
Fluid Pressure Particles in a fluid exert a force on the container they are in. These particles hitting the container create pressure.
Air Pressure Air has mass Gravity acts on all masses Therefore air has weight This is called air pressure
Pressure Changes As your elevation increases the amount of air above you decreases. So air pressure decreases. As your go deeper underwater, water pressure increases.
