Overall goals of the project Improving the situation of older people in their own surroundings by providing: Manageable and unobstrusive ICT Raising the acceptance of ICT for the elderly Improving the usability of ICT Integration of these technologies into the household by: Unobstrusive design Integration into domestic appliances

Structure of the project

Specific results of the project Determine the specific restrictions and whishes of elderly people considering ICT in their living-world (Lebenswelt) A well founded technological basis for development of age-based products and services (provided by the social science partners) Development of devices and services for example: Localization of humans and objects Voice control of household devices Connecting medical services to the household
