OUR MISSION The mission of F.W. Holbein’s Renaissance Program is to foster a positive school culture where all students are recognized and rewarded for their efforts every day. We are committed to excellence in academics, attendance, and behaviors that contributes to well-rounded students.

OUR GOALS The goals of this program are to help foster a positive school climate, improve school attendance and academics, increase involvement from everyone, and decrease discipline referrals through positive behavior supports.

CRITERIA FOR CARDS AND REWARDS *Please note the following: The card level determination for each marking period is based on students grades, attendance, and discipline of the prior marking period. **Determination of the student’s card level for 1st marking period of the next school year is based on 4th marking period grades, attendance, and discipline report of the prior school year. All incoming 6th grade and new students are eligible for a card level the 2nd marking period. ***ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Students participating in Interscholastic Athletics must hold a Renaissance Card to participate in all extracurricular school activities, intramural sports, and interscholastic sports. All incoming 6th graders and new students are eligible to participate in all school activities during the 1st marking period.

GOLD CARD Gold Card All “A’s” No more than 1 absences per marking period without a doctor’s note No discipline referrals which result in Administrative Detention or Suspension No more than 1 unexcused lateness per marking period Rewards for Gold Card   One Friday morning breakfast with Principal or Vice-Principal Two passes for “Free Gym” A free pass to locker during class if you forget something Free admission to all home athletic games Free admission to all Renaissance Dances One cafeteria snack per marking period

GREEN CARD Green Card All “A’s and B’s”   All “A’s and B’s” No more than 2 absences per marking period without a doctor’s note No discipline referrals which result in Administrative Detention or Suspension No more than 2 unexcused lateness per marking period Rewards for Green Card One Friday morning breakfast with Principal or Vice-Principal One pass for “Free Gym” A free pass to locker during class if you forget something Discounted admission to all home athletic games Discounted admission to all Renaissance Dances One cafeteria snack per marking period
