Personal Responsibility Forms/HW Students begin with 100% participation grade at the beginning of each trimester. Students are expected to come to class each day with the required materials and any homework due for that day. If students do not have the required materials with them or have forgotten their homework, students must fill out the classroom log and a PRF to be signed by a parent. 1 PRF = -5 from participation grade HW is generally every day for math, 2-3 times a week for science.

Conferences and Portfolios Starting in 6th grade at SLCS, students are expected to become more reflective students. Students will develop a portfolio for each trimester and present that portfolio to you, their parents and family, at their conference. Students set goals in each subject area. Students reflect on mistakes made in order to avoid making similar mistakes in the future (Error Analysis).
