Fifth Grade Falcons Week of: September 10-15, 2018 Sept. 11 - Picture Money due Sept. 12 - Mini cheer camp – Permission Slips Due Sept. 25th – 27th – 3:00 – 4:30 Mini Cheer Camp Sept. 28 – Book Report Due Decimal Place Value I can round decimals to the nearest tenth, hundredth, and thousandth. I can add decimals using knowledge of place value. I can subtract decimals using knowledge of place value. I can use the RICE strategy to solve word problems. We will have our Mid-Unit Assessment on Wednesday, September 12th-Lessons 1-6 and rounding decimals (pages 303-309-textbook). Novel: The Birchbark House I can analyze character interactions I can explain character challenges/responses I can use text evidence in my response I can use context I can explain text structure I can identify theme Grade – In class work assignments/Cold Read Tests.
