ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY Beaming was established in San Diego in 2011 as an alternative option for fast and healthy foods, juices, and smoothies using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients to promote a balanced approach to organic nutrition and wellness. The Beaming USD food truck homebase will be in the Marian Way Parking Lot adjacent to The Immaculata, however, we sometimes switch it up and station in other locations on campus but you can always track our current location on the app. Additionally, we utilize a delivery service via our smartphone app allowing you to place an order any and have it delivered to you anywhere on campus. ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY

PRODUCTS Products Beaming USD offers a large variety of made-to-order and bottled grab-and-go options for our fresh, organic juices and smoothies. Our menu also includes salads, wraps, desserts, and baked goods, just to name a few, that are made fresh daily and prepackaged for quick and easy services. All our products are available for delivery as well.

Each year we would rent a table at Alcala Bizarre and offer opportunities to win promotions by spinning a wheel, raffle, etc. Customers can sign up for our email list to receive special offers Our app will come with a free membership opportunity; after a certain amount of transactions, members can move up in member rankings to unlock exclusive offers Posters will be posted in each Dorm building ADVERTISING

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE Beaming USD’s predominant competitive advantage strategy focuses on Differentiation. Additionally, we believe our customers are one of the major driving forces for our success and incorporate aspects of the customer-orientation into our to further support our primary strategy.

HOW WE ACHIEVE OUR DIFFERENTIATION While there are other options on campus for smoothies, grab-and-go food and snacks, and other “healthy” food choices, none are able to compete with our level of dedication to the health and wellness of our products We are the only on campus business where all of our ingredients and products are 100% vegan. This guarantees that everything that enters our food truck or food prep area (including our juicers, blenders, other appliances, etc.) is also 100% vegan and eliminates any possibility of cross-contamination for those with food allergies or specific dietary requirements. HOW WE ACHIEVE OUR DIFFERENTIATION

EXEMPLARY SERVICE AND PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS At Beaming USD we strive to support local businesses and farmers and use the highest quality ingredients in our products. We understand the hectic and busy lifestyles of USD students, especially during exam time, which is why we incorporate on demand delivery through our app. Our loyalty program also awards points for all purchases, both in person or delivery, that accumulate and are redeemable for free smoothies or food items. EXEMPLARY SERVICE AND PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS

In order to maximize the value and efficiency we provide to our customers and make sure our business model aligns with our Value Chain goals, we can incorporate IS technologies in the following ways to bolster our business’s competitive advantage strategy and value chain management in a manner aligns with our business model and goals. Executing the process Employing a system for the people delivering orders that maps each customers location and organize the most efficient delivery routes Capturing and storing process data Our systems take data from delivery times, periods when the most orders occur, most popular areas for deliveries, etc. through the iPhone app assigned to each employee Monitoring process performance Analysis of that data with IS technology will highlight areas of strengths and weaknesses to use as a tool to improve our business process management. TAKING ADVANTAGE OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND BUSINESS PROCESSES AT BEAMING USD
