How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluating stages? Within this essay I will be discussing the media technologies I used in the construction and research, planning and evaluating stages of my media portfolio.  

Firstly I constructed my whole blog on the internet on a site called Weebly. On this site, I documented my film’s development as well as the research I did which I then incorporated in my film. On weebly, I embedded files of work I did on Microsoft word, I inserted images and video clips which would illustrate the things I was talking about as well. Here is the weebly logo. During the process of answering some of my evaluation questions, creating my script and generally documenting my research paragraphs, I used power point and Microsoft word. This in an image of my script which shows an example of how I used Microsoft.

In terms of my research, I used Google to understand the history of the films as well as getting images to illustrate everything I had learnt from my research. This is the google logo. Here is an example of how I used google.

Furthermore, I watched the films I researched on Youtube Furthermore, I watched the films I researched on Youtube. I used youtube because it is fast and free. In addition, I put my film onto youtube. Furthermore, it allowed me to embed clips onto my research blog. This image shows a screen shot of my film on youtube. Next, in terms of the production of my film, I used a cannon 600D and a tripod to film my film. I used this camera because it is clear, portable and easy to use. Here is an image which shows me using the cannon 600D.

To edit my film, I used final cut express on a Mac To edit my film, I used final cut express on a Mac. It allowed me to see all of my film clips as well as edit sound and moving images easily. Here is an example of final cut.

To take the images for my posters, I used my Iphone To take the images for my posters, I used my Iphone. I decided to use that because the images are clear and it was easy for me to take the photos because it is very portable and convenient. Lastly, in order to create the format for the second question of my evaluation, I used Prezi and to answer my third question, I used hotmail. This image shows the email I sent out on hotmail to get audience feedback for my film to answer q3 of my evaluation. Here is the Prezi logo.
