Why a Meeting Determine need Regular cycle Special circumstance Purpose & goal – What do you need to leave the meeting with or accomplish? Would an email suffice

The Players Based on purpose, who needs to be there? Types of players to consider: Decision-makers Creative folks Detail folks Task folks Workers Contrarians

Scheduling Time of day is important Support – technology, food, materials Where? When? Size of room? Layout of room? Positioning in the room?
