Rock Story You have just learned about the three main types of rock and how they are formed. You will be using this information to write a storybook targeted for first grade children about the different types of rock. The language in your book should be simple, but informative, and your book should be creative in its design and illustrations. Remember, your audience is a six year old child. 4 In addition to a 3, Your story is extremely creative and is written in an exceptionally sound/well written manner. Your story could be “published” right now. 3 __I have included an example of igneous rock. ______________________ __I have included an example of sedimentary rock. __________________ __I have included an example of metamorphic rock. __________________ __I have explained how each type of rock is formed. __I have given at least one use for each type of rock. __I have included a picture of each type of rock. __I have used additional pictures to either show uses for the rock or how the rock was formed. __My pictures are in color. __I have included a title and author. __I have checked the mechanics of my paper and edited where needed. 2 Some of the information is missing/incomplete/inaccurate. Your story does not appear to be 100% complete. 1 The majority of the information is missing/incomplete/inaccurate Your story is not 100% complete.
