CAF revised version 2006 Objective: Realisation of the revised version of the CAF by the end of the Austrian presidency Approach: 4 working group meetings (Tallinn and Seville in 2005; Vienna in 2006: 16-17 March & 24 April) in between: email consultation & CAF eCommunity via URL: http://dokeos.essenceserver.com/ (access has been provided to national correspondents)

CAF revised version 2006 Structure Change management in 1 and 2 Restructured 2 and 5 based on PDCA Strategy and planning linked to resources Streamlined 6,7 and 8 Criterion 9: external (outputs and outcomes) and internal (process and financial) Scoring: discussion still to be finalised enablers: 1 score in the PDCA, differentiated 1 to 100 results: integrated trends and targets, scale 1 to 100 Examples

CAF brochure « CAF works » State of affairs 02/02/06: 62 organisations were proposed by 18 countries 48 organisations from 17 countries introduced their good practice description (50 cases) 28 cases from 15 countries selected on 1 February 2006: see next slide Search for additional information/clarification on the selected cases: deadline: 28 February

II. CAF brochure « CAF works » General remarks All the cases gave good information on the SA process In all the cases the CAF applications have led to improvement actions The cases are well spread all over Europe All of them did use or have the intention to use the CAF in a continuous way

Registration of CAF users: methods for MS (A) National coordinators not disposing of a database  collect information about all the users in their country and invite them to introduce themselves their data How? : email to caf@eipa-nl.com requesting a login and password from EIPA Who? - the organisation directly, or - via the national coordinator What is available now? from the start: Brochures, basic database, links to national website and coordinators, possibility to introduce the scores (an on-line English version of CAF) since mid 2005: registration in 3 steps Online presentation Brochures and link to KVIK national coordinators national websites: Hungary survey 2005 articles events: information on 2nd European CAF event

Registration of CAF users: methods for MS (B) National coordinators disposing of a database: Phase 1 (2006) – transfer data database NC prepare the data according to the EIPA structure NC inform EIPA who provides login & password NC introduce the data in the database (or enable EIPA to establish a link with the national database ?)
