Steps for Solving Quadratic Inequalities 1) Replace the inequality sign with an “equals” sign, then solve the equation by factoring or the quadratic formula (if factoring fails). 2) Draw a number line and place the solutions on it. 3) Test a number in each interval to check its sign. 4) Give the interval that satisfies the original inequality.
