BTT Course structure
Weeks 1-4 Here students will learn about basic air defence theory
Weeks 5 Student will individually deliver a presentation to the rest of their course.
Weeks 6 Students will participate in a weeks adventurous training.
Week 7 Students will learn the theory behind Weapons Controllers Assistant.
Week 8 Students will get a chance to visit several RAF stations and units
Week 9-12 Here students will learn the theory and practical behind being a Communications Operator
Week 13-14 Students will learn about the human-computer interface (HCI). Within the control & reporting centre at RAF Boulmer
Week 15 Students will learn more about the RAF’s involvement in space awareness
Week 16 Students will have the opportunity to achieve a qualification during this week with NVQ key skills.
Week 17 Students will consolidate all they have accomplished this week and as well as utilising their basic military skills in this week long field exercise.
Week 18 This week the course will graduate
