Past Simple It´s used to talk about events in the past. It´s often used to tell a story …

Example: She walked into the room and looked around. There was a knock on the door. She opened it and saw …..

Affirmative form we add -ed to the infinitive form of the verb. For regular verbs we add -ed to the infinitive form of the verb.

I work hard. ed She walk in the park. ed They laugh at the joke. ed For example: I work hard. She walk in the park. They laugh at the joke. ed ed ed

Form For irregular verbs There are no rules. Each irregular verb has its own past simple, and these can only be learnt by heart.
