Putting the 7 mindsets into action

Everything is Possible FBLA students compete in the state competition Everything is Possible Students in HOSA compete at the Fall Leadership Conference We encourage our students to ‘Dream Big’ and give them the opportunities to refine their skills, compete, and achieve their goals. Students in DECA competing in the state competition Kristen Dickey receives the National Freddie G. Award for Excellent Individual Performance by a Female

Attitude of Gratitude SFMS adopted a sister school in Tennessee, Grainger High School, with many needs for school items, socks, and hygiene products. (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, razors, etc.) SFMS students raised over $4,000 in gift cards, and brought in enough supplies to stuff 80 backpacks for Grainger High students.

Live to Give The students in the top photo were inspired by the Live to Give mindset. They recognized the needs of a fellow student and took it upon themselves to gather school supplies, socks, toiletry items, and shoes for him. 7th and 8th grade students participated in “Live to Give” Service Days throughout the community, including food pantries, parks, elementary schools, charitable thrift shops and more.

Passion First Eagle Summit Showcase was held to highlight students’ accomplishments and projects they are most passionate about through display & discussion sessions and TED talks. Parents were invited to attend this event.
