Welcome to S3 History 

Expectations? Willingness to learn Positive Attitude

Unit 1: The Rise of Hitler   Building on from S2, pupils will look at the importance of the Treaty of Versailles as a factor in the rise of Hitler in Germany. Pupils will develop an understanding of the consequences of Nazi ideology on various groups in Nazi Germany.

Korea Vietnam Nuclear Power Unit 2: Pupils will learn about the impact of political ideologies by studying the Cold War Pupils will explore the changing nature and role of governments over time and the impact of different political systems on a range of people and societies in Europe and Asia. The focus will be on significant events in the Cold War. Korea Vietnam Nuclear Power

Attitudes War Work Suffragists Suffragettes Unit 3: Votes for Women, Why did it take so long? This unit will look at the Suffrage movement in Britain. Pupils will assess the factors that contributed to womens’ suffrage. Pupils will assess the impact of the Suffragette campaign on votes for women.
